Through my experience I have felt the need to carry my responsibility to effectuate change. And the best way I have come up with to do so is through raising awareness. As such I’m open to speaking engagements.
My cellmates in maximum and high security prisons don’t get access to decision makers and change agents. Even when they do, can they articulate what happens in our criminal justice system? Even if they also do so, will the audience relate to them, will their message resonate?
I am fortunate to be here. And to raise awareness and carry this responsibility I’m open to speaking engagements in the following forums:
- Law: the audience are change agents, decision makers or at the forefront of criminal justice reform (I’ve spoken before politician and donors, lawyers, law schools and law school students, as well as prosecutors)
- Finance: the audience are change agents, decision makers or at the forefront of reintegration and addressing the vast under banked populations
- Other: if there is an opportunity to reach new audiences to drive change in mindset and at the ballot boxes
- Organizations: if there is opportunity to add momentum to organizations improving criminal justice reform and assisting in reintegration of the underserved
